Hello all! I know that I have been away for a while but I haven’t been blogging very much lately because I’m preparing to release my book Deception Disguised as Love soon. I will be doing a blog post on that in the next couple of weeks.
Over the summer I was invited to the IWI Fresh Green Party, which is an all green affair so I had to make an outfit. At first I considered a maxi dress but I decided on a peplum top and a pencil skirt. This party featured one of my sew sisters Janet Ponder, she showcased some amazing designs and Vik VarWoo came out to support as well.
The top is the oldie but goodie McCall’s 7021 and I used the Mimi G Style pencil skirt on YouTube to create the bottom. I have made this combination several times over the past year and to be honest it never gets old! This is a very classy look that can be worn for almost any occasion. See you soon!
