The Annie Pack PDF pattern is finally here! I’ve been wanting a fanny pack for awhile now but none of the designs in stores have really caught my eye, so I decided to create my own pattern. I wanted something that was sleek and not too bulky but could still hold my cell phone, keys, and a small wallet. I also wanted something that had a front pocket as well.
Now on to the name… Well my mom’s name is Annie and it rhymes with fanny LOL! I didn’t want to call it a fanny pack or a waist bag, so I decided to try something fun and different. Most of my bags are named after family members and Annie seemed to be perfect.
This pattern is a quick and easy sew with only 5 pattern pieces and there is a step by step video tutorial! It features a front zipper pocket and also a top zipper to store your belongings. You can make the waist strap as long or as short as you desire as long as it fits your waist. There is an adjustable strap for those who want to carry the bag as a cross body. You can use a variety of fabrics to make the design, including cotton cloth, cork, vinyl, etc.
You can purchase the pattern here and it is 15% off until March 10, 2018. Don’t forget to use #lejanarobpatterns and tag me on Instragram at @lejanarob. Happy Sewing!
