Hello All!
It is a raining day here in Atlanta and I’m feeling a little blah but that’s ok, blogging always seem to make me feel better. Today is the last version of Simplicity 8529 that I made, this is view A made with a grey and black double knit. I honestly don’t remember where I purchased this fabric, I found it in my stash and said why not! I didn’t think I sewed this view but turns out I did! I’ll have to make that correction on my February makes video. I have to admit that I’m not too crazy about this view, I felt like I was walking around with a stiff neck lol! Overall every view of this pattern was an easy sew and I recommend this pattern for beginners.
The skirt is Burda 6818 made with a black Ponte knit. I’ve blogged about this skirt before and there is also a tutorial on my YouTube channel. The skirt was an easy sew as well, you can check out the tutorial here.
Of course, I couldn’t leave you without another version of the Erin Pouch. I used a black faux leather gator that I purchased from fabric.com. The lining is a black and white cotton cloth from Joann Fabrics. Until next time!
