Hello and welcome to day 12 of our 12 Days of DIY Christmas Gift Ideas! Today we are doing a travel case (kit)! This is a project that you can have so much fun with because you can use a variety of fat quarters designs. You can use contrasting fabric on the inside to fit your style. I like this project because there is minimal cutting and you have the option on how large or small you want to make the slots in your travel kit. You can find the tutorial here. Here are the tools you will need:
- 2 fat quarters
- 1 can be a contrasting piece
- ½ yard fusible fleece
- 1-yard ribbon
- Pins or clips
- Ruler
- Marking pen or chalk roller
- Scissors or rotary cutter
- Iron and ironing board
- Thread
- Sewing machine
