Hello and welcome to day 3 of our 12 Days of DIY Christmas Gift Ideas. I hope that you all enjoyed the infinity scarf and the beanie videos, I can’t wait to see all of your makes. Today we are doing a potholder! I’m super excited because this is my first time doing a potholder and I get to share it with you all. For this potholder, I created a 9” x 9” pattern piece because I will be using these measurements for other projects as well. You can find the video here. Here are the tools you are going to need:
- ¼ yard fabric
- ¼ yard batting
- ¼ yard of insulated batting (optional)
- 9” x 9” pattern template (if you decide to make one)
- Scissors
- Thread
- Sewing machine
- Ruler
- Marking pen or chalk roller
