Hello All! I hope that you are having a wonderful week so far. This is the Easy Color Block Skirt pattern from So Sew Easy. I found this free pattern on Craftsy a while ago but I’m just getting around to making it. I’ve always wanted to make a color blocked skirt and I have plenty of patterns, but this one had all of the ingredients that I love! There is only one pattern piece and the measurements for the sides are printed on that piece. To finish it off there is an elastic waistband.
I used a black and grey harlequin liverpool knit for the front and back pieces and a black ponte knit for the side piece. I purchased both fabrics from Fine Fabrics. The pattern can be found here and the step by step YouTube video can be found here. The top is New Look 6246, I used a grey light weight sweater knit. I made another version of the shirt in an ITY knit here.
