Hello All! When I was a little girl my mom would always take me to Cloth World when she shopped for fabric. At the time, I had no interest in sewing and most of the time I would ask to stay in the car. When I started sewing in 2014 I only knew about Hancock Fabrics and Joann Fabric and Craft stores. One day I decided to ask a question about fabric stores in the Atlanta area that did not include Hancock or Joann and someone mentioned Fine Fabrics. Fine Fabrics is located at 6218 Dawson Blvd, Norcross, GA 30093. I know that I am always talking about how great Fine Fabrics is, so today I decided I would show you just how fabulous they are!
Let’s start with fabric! There is a huge selection of fabric in this warehouse which includes an array of knits, wool, cashmere, fleece, shantung, cotton twill, etc., etc. Now I only thought fabric came in 45 and 60 inches, boy was I wrong!
Not only is the fabric selection amazing but they also carry zippers, buttons, elastic, thread, interfacing, the list goes on and on. Many designers and seamstresses travel from other cities to visit Fine Fabrics and they are not disappointed.
Last but not least, the customer service is amazing! You are greeted with a smile and everyone is willing to help you find what you need. The guys who cut and carry the fabric have a great sense of humor especially when I find a large roll of fabric for them to carry. AND… they know me by name!
You can check the video of the few pieces I picked from my recent trip Fine Fabrics here.
We need to go together next time I’m in Atlanta.
Yes let me know and I will definitely be there!
Love Fine Fabrics! You should have got Candy to take a pic with you. That’s my girl!
I know right! She has been running away from pictures lately but she carries those rolls like a champ!
Fine Fabrics is my happy place,i always leave with a smile on my face & an empty wallet.?
