Hello All!
I hope that you had a wonderful weekend! My weekend was excellent because my new baby is home. Earlier this year my mom found a Juki Industrial sewing machine for $499 and I must admit I was jealous and I wanted one for myself! Well to my surprise about 2 months ago, she found me one as well and brought her to me this past weekend! It is the Juki DDL 555-4.
Now on to this awesome shirt. This is Kwik Sew 4028! Can I tell you I love a shirt with a cowl neck collar. This shirt is great for beginners and there is a short & long sleeve version. I opted for the short sleeve version because it is warm outside but not too hot to wear this type of collar. I used a brown Ponte knit from Fabric Mart. I paired the shirt with skinny jeans from Old Navy and my shoes (old) are Jessica Simpson. If you want to see how I put this top together, you can check out the YouTube video here. In the meantime, here is a quick pattern review.
