McCall’s 7353 + Pattern Review

Hello All!

This is McCall’s 7353. I’ve wanted to make this top for a while now and I finally got a change to make it. I’m still on a mission to make summer pieces and I love this top because it has the empire waist and it is long enough to wear leggings. Next time I will try making the top with a Ponte knit because I think that will be a sturdier fabric. I also decided to include the Morning Glory Pouch to finish off the look. Check out the pattern review below:

Pattern Description: Misses’ Raised Elastic-Waist Top and Dresses

Fabric used: Liverpool knit from Fine Fabrics

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done? Yes

What size did you cut? 12

Level of difficulty: Easy

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I like that the pattern was quick and easy to sew together

Pattern alterations or design changes: None. Next time I will cut a 10 for the bodice and grade to a 12 for the bottom.

Would you sew it again? Yes

Would you recommend it for others? Yes
