Hello All!
It’s the weekend and I’m very excited because this weekend is Project Sew with That’s Sew Monica and Atlanta Sewing Style! I’m sew excited to meet Monica and other ladies that live in the Atlanta area. There are even ladies that are traveling from other cities.
This outfit was made using Simplicity 8376 and 8378, they are apart of the pattern hacking line from Simplicity. I used a polka dot Liverpool knit that I purchased from Fine Fabrics. I love both these patterns because they are quick and easy, and you can use each pattern to create different looks.
For the shirt, I did not use the neckband or the armhole band because I did not like either of them the first time, I made the pattern. I just made a narrow hem around the neckline and armholes.
For the pants, I made the wide leg version. I have made the crop pants and the joggers in the past, so I’ve definitely gotten my money’s worth and more.
Both patterns have quickly become a TNT pattern for me and I highly recommend them to beginners.
