Simplicity 8375

Happy Monday! Did you have a productive weekend? I was able to prep several different projects and accomplish other things on my to do list. Today I want to share Simplicity 8375, this is one of their pattern used for pattern hacking. I decided to add the ruffle to the tunic instead of originally going with the dress. I used a hunter green Ponte knit from Fine Fabrics and I paired it with my Gianni Bini sandals. Check out the pattern review below:

Pattern Description: Misses’ Knit Dress or Top with Multiple Pattern Pieces for Design Hacking

Fabric used: Ponte knit

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done? Yes

What size did you cut? Medium at the top then graded to a large for the hips

Level of difficulty: Easy

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I did not like gathering for the ruffle

Pattern alterations or design changes: I did not use the neckband or armbands

Would you sew it again? Yes

Would you recommend it for others? Yes
