Vogue 9116 Jumper + Pattern Review

DSCN2972

Hello All! I’m in love again, not with a person but this jumpsuit. Mimi G has done it again! This Vogue Jumper is her May sew along for Michael Levine. I always have a hard time with jumpers attaching the bodice to the pants but not this time. Just like in other sew alongs, Mimi G shows you how to make this jumper from start to finish. If you didn’t know already, I’M A MIMI G DARLING!  I purchased this Spandex fabric from Fine Fabrics some time ago but I didn’t know what I wanted to do with it. When I saw this jumper I knew it would be perfect. It is sleek and sexy, so I will be adding more to my wardrobe! Check out the pattern review below. See you later!

Fabric used: Spandex

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done?Yes

What size did you cut? 10 Bodice 14 Pants. I usually cut a 12 but over time I have learned that I am small on the top and wide on the bottom. To be on the safe side I cut a 14 in the pants because my hips are a blessing and a curse!

Level of difficulty: Very easy and Mimi G has a sew along on the Michael Levine Blog

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I like the wide leg pants

Pattern alterations or design changes: None

Would you sew it again? Absolutely!

Would you recommend it for others? Absolutely! It is a quick project with a sexy outcome!
